Design time [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Post by syntax53 »

With all the cool shit I see on here, someone has to be able to hook me up. My design skills are shit and many of you on here are great at it.

I need:

468 x 60 px banner graphic

88 x 31 px mini-banner graphic

and finally, the one that most people will feel inclined to do:

450 x 370 px background graphic for NMR.

the banner graphics can be any design/color you want. the background graphic needs to have a dark feel and look good in the top left corner of the program window. It also needs to look good with a black background around the rest of it.

I would love to make a contest out of this somehow, but I simply have nothing to reward anyone with. Of course you will be given credit in the help --> about of NMR though.

email your designs to: syntax53@twistedtek.net

thanks,

syn

Well, that in itself is a good contest...take as many submissions for the next week from anyone/everyone, and then pic...you can give them credz...I'm sure plenty of people would be happy just to have their name posted...I know I am :D

heh, no. the program just seems to be picking up some popularity and people are posting links and such to the homepage. i think i've seen three different banners that people have made themselves simply because I don't have one. turbofoot recently added a link on his page so it's really going to pick up now.

That first image syntax used was eventually removed because micah held a copyright on the current (bluish) image and bitched that the silvery one was ripped and edited version of his...I don't know the full details, but basically..its just cuz micah was a dicah bout it ;)

i seriously doubt that Micah applyed for U.S. Copyright protection on that piece of artwork. From what i understand just adding a (C) at the bottom of your work don't mean shit. Not that i have seen that artwork w/ the copyright logo on it.

I think Syntax just kept it around out of the kindness of his heart (beacuse micah whined)

ad props to MMB

DUDE add a big old fat link to mmb somewhere to click on..

in only a fresh install, have it set home page to MMB

better yet, make the background a webbrowser, and make THAT the Nightmare redux forum on MMB - or make a mini browser in some drop down window to the whole "Hexing" forums..

even better yet - have it check the wccmmud.dll and see if its hacked - if not - make it do something about MMB

(EDITED BECAUSE IT WAS SUCH A GOOD IDEA, I'LL SHARE IT WILL YOU AND YOU ALONE)
