Come one come all, come play. BBS.SERVEBEER.COM

telnet://bbs.servebeer.com

1/16/03:

Added Quest items for Quests 1-2, all three aligns to shop

Made a new mini area (20 rooms or so, testing them out) Dark Jedi's (If I made it right, should be level 5-15ish)

Minor fixes for catastro's here and there, board should be stable

01/14/03:

Added Shop and Teleport Room above bank

Teleport Rooms are 1 plat to use, and go to Khazarad, Rhudaur, Lost City, Aged Titan, and Commander Markus

New Item: Belt of Many Pouches - S.C. +5, Encum +200

If I'm on aim (Unknown Error 14), the bbs is most likely up. The board will definitely be up for more time during the weekends, until I can put it up 24/7. More edits to come!

setup a website (usually an ISP will provide you with 10 megs or so) and setup a redirect (if you dont want people seeing the actual IP) use a basic webpage creator (netscape composer) and you have a low-key webage in under 5 minutes. The longest thing is typing up the basic page and signing up for a free redirect.

That program isn't all that great :P They need to make a program for newbs to create php pages more easily. Like Dreamweaver does for Cold Fusion/HTML, etc.

i think it's pretty damn great. i used to spend a shit load of time installing apache, mysql and php on windows box's. that does it in like 30 seconds.

wasn't that the whole point of the suggestion? To help him code a simple page? Which dreamweaver will do far better than triad will (w/o knowing php). ;)

...phptriad and dreamweaver are two totally different things. speed was just pointing out a fast and easy way for him to turn his box (or any other box) into a webserver. if he wants to do it in php, html, etc he can.

Ok, well now that you people have completely flamed eachother on web software.. I was planning on getting some silly angelserver-like free website, and using Frontpage.

Any suggestions on something that makes less messy code, but is still as easy to use (I don't know html, nor php, nor active whatever.) I don't need anything flashy. Simple text would do fine. Thanks. Bbs is currently up, 11:34pm. Come take a gander, if you're so inclined.
