As all of you know - or should know - illegal content is not allowed on here. The MMB Administrators and Moderators have made an effort to ensure all content posted does not in anyway violate any copyright laws. We've made it a rule that giving outright links or FTP login information to sites that contain illegal content will not be tolerated, and have worked to ensure adherence to this policy.



I've noticed more and more lately that actual links and FTP information have been replaced by phrases to the effect of "pm me.. or pm for that information."



That is not allowed. There is no difference between saying "go to www. host .com/majormud/cracks" and saying "pm ." You are still informing the user on how to get copyrighted files illegally.



If you want to participate in such prohibited actions, please do so off the board. No one is above the law, and I intend to make sure content on MMB complies with the laws regarding distribution of copyrighted material. If you have it in your mind to engage in activities of an illegal nature, do not do so on here. We will not tolerate it.



MMB is not and has never been a place to obtain copyrighted files illegally. MMB is a place to carry on conversation regarding playing and editing Majormud.
