Where can i get the files?

we all do but we dont like to tell people who dont take the time to search through the 50 other threads of people asking cuz if they wont search thru that then they're too lazy to run a bbs.

Very much Agreed! There is alot of posts with links, and ftps with all the necessary files.



Anothing thing would be, after he finds them, the posts for "how do I do this and that" will start!

Yeah, posts with how do I do this and that would suck. ESPECIALLY since this is a forum dedicated to helping people who want to start their own muds. Damn, I would HATE to see something like someone asking for HELP in a HELP forum.

Speed - when the same question is asked what it seems like is every day, it gets old. I don't mind helping people, but when you open a forum and the latest thread is the same thing you're starting a new thread for, that's just lazy.

nod, wasn't directing what I said at what you said, was directing it at Phear3d. You are right, he should have searched the forums for finding the stuff, but after that its still hard to set it up and there are a lot of unique problems that are more easily found and discussed when someone makes a whole new thread.

True, and those problems can be addressed as they come up. But, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed the recent increase of questions about where to get the files. It seems like there's a new thread about it every day. Is there a FAQ on here? If there isn't, there should be.

I did look through the forum, i thought the forum entitled "How do I" _WAS_ the help forum. I am not too lazy to run the bbs, nor will I ask how to do shit.

i just figured you guys were to lazy to come up w/ good questions to be answered - and sense im trying to maintain 5 other pages on that left column block (and plan to add a few more) its going to continue to delay them.
