export ur edits to an access database, then install j and load up the dats, then import ur database, but have it set to not update, like skip i think, so it dont screw with j's stuff, then ull need to update any existing rooms that had new exits or spells or whatever manually

in other words - you might as well scrap it and redo it, if you do that you'll end up messing up somewhere or doing something wrong, then you'll have to start with a new map file etc etc and this is usually how things go=P

nah cos if u got a lot of new items and new rooms, itd be best to import them and just redo the few in-built spells or rooms u might have tampered with.
