177 "Spell Colours" Spells have their own color field if I'm not mistaken, so I don't know what this would be used for.. can't think of anything at the moment.

Hmm, not that I've seen, and you get the impression that there's no way for them to set the spell color in the actual database because they had to make spell 411 (lightning hits - used on the stormhammer) an 'auto-casting' type spell to make it show up as red colored instead of cyan/light blue (a recent change from 1.11i to 1.11j). I'd imagine if there was a way to change spell colors more simply, they'd have just used that.

They backed out of that change I believe. It was pretty stupid to begin with... I can't believe they thought people would believe everyone wanted the spell to be non-elemental so they'd take 50% more damage as long as the text their script sees is blue.

Eh, doubtful. Apparently this little bastard is also using the names of one of the Loonie Bin sysops and at least two of the names We uses. I'm pretty sure artic is cool with We, and whoever is doing it obviously has a problem with the three of us. Don't know who it could be though... Kinda sad for them, since Mistress and I don't really have any major enemies in common. So whoever it is must not even be important enough to really remember.

That was my doing.. they didn't know that elemental resistance only affected one type of spell and not the other, and when they made it affected by rlit it turned red. But I thought there was a field for colors.. MsgType in MmEdit? Perhaps it only works on some spells and not for others, or maybe I'm just wrong :)

MsgType ended up being the boolean for 'normal' style message vs. 'alternate' style message. =)
