I tried that, but when i put in the new PCI card, it wont give me a picture, even through the old card.

Actually I think we can solve it this way





go into BIOS and then go over to Advanced





In the advanced settings do you see something that says





Video Boot Type : onboard 512 or onboard 1mem





Then right below that setting, do you see something that says



Primary Video Adapter: Onboard

He told me he doesnt have that option.

hmmm....the only option Ive seen so far is the last advice I posted where the guy said to insert the new card and then go into bios and the setting should be there BLEH

I told him to get a local tech to flash the BIOS with that patch.

I strongly suggest a different card tho, i always have troubles with that brand grr

ATI's cards are nice there driver support is just asshat. I run a Radeon 8500 128m version and i love it.

grin, well my AIM name is durin016, but i dont see any options like that. I think im gonna just keep this video card for my new puter, that wont be a focking compact. The one i just got for xmas is a dell. Its decent, i think =). I think its a 1.8 ghz. Dunno though havent looked at it alot. Anyways, if u guys get anymore ideas id love em.
