5 user limit problems

Ok i've done all those nice little steps and i get stuck at a 5 account limit. I am up and running but after the 4th person makes an account, i get a message saying "the board has just run out of accounts" what have i done wrong, what can i do to correct it. Id be appreciative if you could help me fix this problem....

sounds like you need to reg worldgroup

start>programs>wg server>utilities>hardware setup>core>group 1>NUMBR1: Number of Channels (decimal): and upped it?



There must be different demo's of WG floating around..last BBS I was on that was in demo, whoever wanted to could connect, the BBS just went down every 4 hours. But aparently there's one that limits users? I don't know..WG is a headache.

No no, i can have more than 2 people in the mud at the same time, i cant get more than 5 general accounts set up. My sysop account counts as one, then when i have more than 4 friends sign up i get this thing about it being out of accounts. its totaly odd.

Nobody said anything about mud. They are trying to help you set up WG. We know it's not a mud problem. You need to register your WG, or change the option that Plat said to change. Those are the only two things I can think of going wrong.

After 40 minutes of fucking around and 3 reinstalls i finaly did something and it works now.... thanks for attempting to help me..... i do have another problems, and that is i wish to create custom races and classes but no one can tell me where to get the cracked files that dont revert everything to a hog ranger.

I've got the same problem, I can only make 5 accounts and after that i get some error saying i can not make more. I did reg it for 256 and followed all instructions properly.. if i setup worldgroup on another pc i can make more than 5 accounts. Also its not the hardcoded demo that i installed, I've got both files.

When worldgroup loads it says:



SERVERUP: V3.20-256(5) - READY TO SERVICE USERS

on the other pc it will say

SERVERUP: V3.20-256(889651) - READY TO SERVICE USERS..





anyone know the problem?
