Ok, Deranged Liquidation is down.



The server itself shut off. I drove down there to see what's up, turned it back on and tried to run WG. I got an error. Something about it not being able to find the account database...not good. I'm sure the power outage had something to do with the problem, but i'm not positive my edits couldn't have. So i'm going to bring it back up later this morning. Brand new realm, 50x and universal trains to 250 for now. I'll slowly be putting back in my edits just to be sure that everything is stable. I apologize for the crash and i think i've rectified the problem with the stability issue. Thanks and come back!

It was most likely the power outage, same thing happened to The Matrix, had to reinstall everything..luckily the edited files and user dat were untouched and we weren't set back.

coughUPScough. if you run a bbs that people play on, you should get a UPS. You can get a belkin serial or USB UPS that will auto-shut down your PC if the UPS batteries go dead for ~$100. Only plug in the power from your server to it and plug the monitor power in somewhere else. You should be able to get about 20-30 minutes of battery backup off of a 525VA UPS.

I'm moving it to my data center in downtown KC with a APC 3000 rack mountable ups. It will power 10 standard boxes for 2 hours.So i think i got it covered....

Also, metallic monstrosity is now instant regen along with the cave worm, slimer, thrag and obsidian golem. the metallic monstrosity is worth 10mil a pop with beefed stats.
