No, it's not. Perhaps you're not familiar with what a flame is. It's what you did to me last time we talked and I proved you wrong. It's to start insulting people and generally cursing and bitching. I didn't insult anyone, I'm simply pointing out that sentences that end in periods are taken as statements rather than questions.

It's called "common sense." It never happens on legit boards, and it never happens on hexed boards that stay within levels reasonably close to what's normally in-game. Therefor, logically it MUST be in some way related to having those extreme levels and hp. Quite frankly... duh.

No, I'm Mr. Takes People For What They're Saying, And Is Not A Psychic. He worded it as a statment. There is no "did." He ended it in a period, not a question mark. They teach you better than this by the second grade. I assumed his statement was exactly what it looks like and I forgot to use my magical psychic abilities to check if English was his second language. Since you apparently don't get it... let me be a little clearer...



1. Questions end in question marks.

2. A properly formed question would have had the word "did" in it.

3. He was using some form of punctuation marks and capitalization, so it was a fair assumption he wasn't just being lazy.

Oh, and while we're on the subject of cockiness... Let's talk about that little forum at the bottom called "Corner of the Elites." Or, as it is in reality, "Corner of the admins and their friends." Now I'd LOVE to know exactly what ISN'T cocky about that?



Don't get me wrong... I don't mind cockiness. Nor do I deny that I am myself. But hell, I have a reason to be. There's more than a few people over on mudcentral's forums right now that are pissed at me and my gang because I came up with a strategy that let us go to the hardest boss in the game with 1/10th the firepower they took and made it look easy. They called it a fluke, so we went back with 2 less people and did it again. This is not uncommon. My gang commonly does bosses with far less than other people have to use. I've figured out little bugs and tricks that have gone unnoticed by the general masses despite being in the game for years. Every legit board I'm on for a while, when people have a mud question and nobody knows, it's "wait for Atma to get to keys." So am I cocky? Damn right I am. I'm just that damn good. I have no problem with other people being cocky either, because I know there's some others that are damn good too. Are the people in that forum one of them? I don't know any of them well enough to judge. But I can tell you one thing... Giving yourself a private forum called "Corner of the Elites" is DAMN cocky. So if anyone's got a problem with my cockiness, either have a problem with that too, or explain your double standard.

Corner of the Elites is not about cockiness. it's rewarding those who have contributed greatly to this community, and who spend enough time on these forums to moderate and watch the posts



yeah i'll admit prolly 1/6-5/6ths of my posts have been nothin but spam, but the point is many of us have helped tons of people, have referred tons of people, or have otherwise made a good contribution to this forum.



and trust me atma, i don't read 1 of your posts, heh. and truth be told, that is the only reason, cause it's a hassle for me to have to look closer at it and try and split it up. it's not exactly easy to read, ya gotta admit it :rant:

double standard? How can having a section on a forum for people that WORK here to collaborate in and discuss things that only THEY need to discuss? Damn, be sure to bring that up at the next board meeting you're not invited to Atma. And last I checked, Aragon was the boss, he has all the expenses/liabilities. Is he not allowed to do things that he feels are appropriate?
