Do you people know there are more than 2 ppl running for presidency at each election? You know..you can vote for parties other than democrat and republican...

It does seem that when the founding fathers wrote started this system, they didn't intend for politics to be a career...just a service to the people, BY THE PEOPLE. Politicians are not the people, they are power hungry mongrels who are out for nothing but seeing their own will imposed upon the people they allegedly serve.

Few people realize that when we vote, the votes go to the congressman/senators, who then vote on behalf of us and what our popular vote was, but have the power to change their minds...completely negating OUR votes.

I say that the profession of politician should be removed, and only those workers with exceptionally good leadership skills should be asked to represent us, and then work their way into congress/senate to represent us.

After all, George Washington was a general, asked to take leadership...the first 5-10 presidents were not politicians, they were just men that were innate leaders in their communities and businesses. Even Ben Franklin had been asked to run...but he declined.

Anyway....Politicians BAD, Every-Day-Joe-Blow GOOD ;)

"Most of our country's imports come from overseas".

that sounded funny at first but after you think about it, Mexico and Canada aren't overseas and we get some stuff from them so that sentence probably is one of the few unstupid comments he's made. It probably just sounded funny coming out of his mouth, like everything else.

my favorite line dealing with politics...

First of all... Republicans: I hate each and every one of you. Seriously. I once rerolled someone for saying he liked John Ashcroft.

Now then...

Only if you're doing it to on princible. You ARE throwing away your vote by voting for another party. Yeah, two party politics is BS, and I believe one president, Lincoln I think it was, said that a two party system would be the death of us. It is, but don't expect another party to have ANY chance. What's-his-name spent 2 billion dollars on compaigning a few years back and didn't get one electoral vote. Not one.

Yeah, I bet you have a good argument for that other than the fact liberals aren't warmongers, right? Didn't think so.

But I'll tell you what probably would... or rather, WOULDN'T have happened if Gore was elected. 9/11. Clinton had people on Bin Laden. Bush called them back when he got power. Then planes start smashing into the World Trade Centers. Hmm. Interesting.

Politics are stupid. Jesse Ventura should run for president. That man has integrity. Joke all you want about him being an ex wrestler, but he is seriously one of the only political figures I can respect, and other people I know who DONT watch wrestling can expect. He matches the whole "the first 5-10 presidents were not politicians, they were just men that were innate leaders in their communities and businesses" thing perfectly. A modern day warrior in a time of greed and self-righteousness. But he was driven out. It's a shame. I hear Minnesota did great under his leadership. I was in 8th grade when Perot ran for president and I was smart enough then to know he was good enough. I'm glad Clinton got in instead of whoever the fuck he ran against. He was good for a laugh and DIDNT fuck us up. Bush is good for a laugh and DOES fuck us up. We're supposed to be the greatest fucking country in the world, yet out leaders are stupider than Sally Struthers. And fuck Iraq, if they can't learn their lesson from the last time we kicked their asses, we'll just have to do it again.

As they said on South Park... BOMB HEAVEN. Saddam is more of an idiot than Bush.

You should all know bye now all elections are rigged. Simple politics. Think for a moment, if certain people in positions of power can keep other key figures empowered then thier goals and ideals continue. If I am not mistaken didn't Gore win the "popular" vote? Another example of how the goverment screws us. Your' votes are useless, the electoral collage sees to that. But that's only concerned with the presidential race(Which I voted for Ralph Nader, and so should all of you). Here in New York state George Pataki won for his second term. Now his opponent Thomas Golisano hands down was the publics favorite. Pataki has raised our taxes(No big surprise NY is the highest taxxed state in the nation, and third in population). He also managed to get 50,000 hard working captial region(Albany and surrounding counties) locals to lose thier job, including my uncle and cousin. He is in the forefront of the "War on Drugs" Trieng to criminalize everything and everyone. His strict iron first and victory are orchestrated bye the repubulican party. When I was younger I used to think republicans were the way to go,

Main Entry: [2]conservative

Function: noun

Date: 1831

1 a : an adherent or advocate of political conservatism b : capitalized : a member or supporter of a conservative political party

2 a : one who adheres to traditional methods or views b : a cautious or discreet person

Pronunciation Key

The fact remains that the republican party are the ones really trieng to shape the world in thier "euporic" image. In search of a "New World Order"----qouted from George W. Bush speaking shortly after 9/11. Yes, he actually said that. The truth is you cannot trust any political party except one forged from the middle-class working man. The rich get richer and it happens everyday.

The Truth is right here..... (http://www.infowars.com)
