Yeah, on account of armor-enhancing spells that Mages have which Druids don't. From levels 3 thru 17, Mages use Mageshield for +8 AC. At levels 18 and up, Mages use Invisibility for a massive +18 AC (not to mention the major PvP advantage of being invisible...)



Even priests get an armor-enhancing spell at level 18, since Holy Armor gives +10 AC, among other effects.



Druids, meanwhile, have no armor-raising spells. IMHO this makes them balanced at high levels, since they're otherwise pretty powerful :D
