Cant get any sound!! [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Ok well...I cant get any sound...except the stupid beep.



All I did was put in a new CPU!!



(I spilt milk on everything, and washed it all off..blow dry...then let it dry for 4+ days....everything is fine, I dont think that would effect the sound card, there was no power to anything.)

Is the beep from the speakers from your sound card or the pc speaker?

Is everything connected right inside the case..card inserted right? cd cable connected right? speakers plugged in correctly? speakers on?



just coverin the basics...if none of that works..reformat! heh, er, try to just reinstall the drivers/software and see if that affects it any.

is it integrated? if so, is it enabled in the CMOS/BIOS settings
