Every Friday starting at approximately 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time the folks over at h4x0rbbs are holding pvp competitions!



All are in the large arena, so have no fear of losing stuff. This may change, another idea we're contemplating is backing up the board and letting everyone at it.



During this time, sys goto and sys map will be disabled for all users, so you're on your own :)



Come join the fun, and get levels to compete :)

anyway... i just remembered friday is my birthday hehe. so the sysop of h4x0rbbs won't be ak for the pvp tourney :(, but i'll see if i can get someone to watch the first weekly tournament.

NO MORE VALIDATION!



Well, that is for certain things :). Now new users are in the "H4X0R" class, but not in the mudder class. In other words, I want people to play T-LORD and BladeMaster with me! So any 'ol person could do that :).



But if you want to be a majormudder, you still need to be validated. So instead of "wait until your account gets approved by the sysop," you can be playing Blademaster! :)

What's new at h4x0rbbs?



8 of the top ten users were banned from the board because they thought they could threaten the sysop by saying, "Do this or I'm leaving the board." I, personally, do not like seeing that. If they apologize, and they know who they are, they can come back.

A second mud is in the progress, one which is editted :)



anyone who would want to contribute ideas or suggestions, feel free, as i haven't even started yet and am lookin for people to say what they think.



one idea: i'm thinkin maybe a somewhat futuristic phantasy star type of edits. tell me whatchas think

it doesnt matter what i think... its your bbs... but yeah im sure id

have done the same thing.. i did something similar not too long

ago.. but the threat to me was being reported.. in your cause i

might have just laughed at them and told them to go ahead and

quit... but i dont think banning was too harsh.. the dumbasses

out there that give sysops ultimatums on their own bbs's they

are providing for FREE need to learn that it will get them nowhere.

We arent making anything off of you being on our bbs's so why

the hell would we care if you quit?



the majormud players keep gettin younger and dumber... or am

i just gettin older and wiser...

That's right..and people might look at that as a bad thing, like you don't care if people quit..

I wouldn't say it was "do this or i'm leaving" more the sysop not caring what his users think when he makes changes. Putting on the editted dll and giving sys conjure, edit and teleport to you and your ops, but no other users is pretty lame, especially in a realm you call "legit." If we were banned, it was after we had quit already, so i don't think anyone will be too bothered by it.
