If you knew anything about running a legit board, which you obviously don't then you would know that most boards pay extra through their ISP for the right to run a server on their INET connection. Our cost of hosting a server is over twice what our price is for normal service.



I'm not going to stoop to your childish and immature level of name calling and bringing personal differences into mud. It's a fucking game and I think you've taken it way beyond that, and I pity you for not knowing the difference.



I've never once considered myself above anyone else. I browse these forums the way I did before going legit. I still hold a lot of friends in these forums that I would never put myself above and those people know that, in fact a few people from these forums logon to my system to chat and play around.



On a side note...If someone starts a fund for getting Dark some anger management classes, lemme know, I'll donate :)

Did someone forget the logic of bitching about playing a free game? Computers cost money, software costs money. If you don't like sysops, don't go there. They charge for limited mudop access? Money makes the world go round round round! The sad thing is that people try to incorporate politics into mud. Are they aiming to have their name as mayor of a new town in mod 10? hah nod..Legit is Legit, Edited is Edited..just about every Legit BBS has a trial period, if you don't like the BBS, don't pay...there are plenty out there to chose from..and you know what? NONE of them are Unique..they're ALL the same! Don't act like theres not another one out there for you..



Edited is Edited..realms are Unique...if you don't "agree" with what goes on, decide whether what you agree with is more important than how much you like the BBS's uniqueness..if not, oh well, cry me a river, move on.



It IS just a game..and YOU get to play the unique one-of-a-kind versions of the game free, or you can go pay money on any number of BBS's for the same boring shit. That's up to you..I don't pay, I don't complain. I've been on plenty of BBS's because when I don't like something I move..you should try that.

Nah, I have some long standing friends around here that I would never turn my back on and they know that :) I run a legit board, and have no intentions on ever doing anything to put my board in jeopardy, but that doesn't stop the friendships I've made. :)
