I been kicking this one around but never got to asking it: Hey syntax, is it possible to remove the 35k HP cap on monsters so i can assign a higher HP value than 35000hp?

Heya Syntax..I had an idea..and this might not be a widely used idea, as some people find class restrictions are nice, but have an option that can remove class restrictions for items...like add it to the items editor so all you would have to do is hit a button and it removes em or something..then have like one that does it for all items..

Not everyone would use the idea and all but maybe someone would..and hell, what could it hurt?

i just released a patch (v0.6.2) which addresses invisigod's question about the monster hp cap, and a major problem with the monster exp divider (it set the exp to 1!). so uh dont use it until you get this patch! :) you can get the patch from the sourceforge page linked off of the sticky in this forum.

platinum: i plan on eventually enabling you to do something like your talking about to anything. you would select an item, and then select an operator (like +, -, *, /, or =) and then select a value to use for the math. i know how to do it, it's how to do it efficient and without needing lots of code is what i still need to figure out :)

i was just thinking the same thing sytax, with the no lims. limited items are cool as hell, but a payne to up them all by 10, or times them by a value. I noticed the monster exp problem today too, i devided them, and they all went to 1. now, some of the users on morbid found that not all mosters are ture 10x. some monsters went to 80k or what have u, but some only went to 65k...

Also..I dunno if there's already this option..I haven't gotten this far in depth..but you should have an option that will allow people to make their own magic classes..like mage, priest, druid, but new ones n stuff.

As much as i agree with platinum on that last one, thats easier said than done,it would require a completly restructured magic system.

so are you saying you think it didn't multiply correctly? or are you just mentioning that you noticed the problem with dividing? because after i fixed it i took a 2x board, divided it by 2, and then multiplied it by 10, and then made an update file and it's working great. no one said anything about weird exp values so far.
