I've got WG up and running at 256, and MMUD apparently up and running also. I'm in the process of testing it and have noticed that my bbs console has some odd numbers running across the top of it.
I'm running WG 3.2 and mmud ver 1.11i, and have WG set to display the old dos console. At the top of the console I get some alternating numbers and / \ chars which appear to be random.
Is this normal mud processing or should I be concerned?

Is this normal?
Re: Is this normal?
I had that happening at one point as well... can't remember what got rid of it. If I recall it was a crack for something that seemed to cause it... I think it was a mud crack that I was using before I switched to a hexed DLL... or maybe it was a WG crack before I used a serial... can't really remember. But at any rate it didn't seem to have any adverse effects but then again I didn't actually run the BBS with it like that.
Re: Is this normal?
Man, I would say don't sweat it... It wont do anything to your bbs. I have no fucking clue as to what it is, but I know it works just fine with them little #'s at the top. So I say... FUCK IT! :)
Re: Is this normal?
Like I said mine seemed to work fine when it was doing it... so I wouldn't worry much about it unless you notice other fucked up shit going on with the actual operation of the bbs
Re: Is this normal?
The numbers and signs are from the patch or crack that gives you the sys teleport, sys conjure and all tose news ones, they don't really do anything and they are not going to hurt anything, so I say don't worry about it.
Re: Is this normal?
I think its unanimous, dont worry about it. :D
