Ah marrage a fine instution of forcing two people to make vows which in modern days no longer count for much. Back in the day, when you got married, she could die off rather quickly lots of ways so "till death do you part" didnt mean 50 years or more. Plus in this modern world, the judges in divorces always (in my experiance) take pitty on the women and give them WAY more than they brought to the table. I mean Say i brought a bunch to the table and she only had the clothes on her back, the judge would give her 50% of my ownings, but why? i owned it before, so it was mine then too.



I dont see marrage as a Bad thing, but i dont see it as a good thing eather, i've seen too many fail.

Marriage is a joining of two people by law. When two people join, their belongings become eachothers. Therefore, when you split up, you split belongings. Also, the judge wouldn't only take pity on the woman, that's just how it usually works out because the woman is normally the one that brings less objects and more baggage into the relationship. If you were to bring the clothes on your back and marry a successful female lawyer, and then divorced, you would get 50% as well. That just hardly ever happens.

But, most likely, the guy will decline most of the 50% of the assets simply because guys have this thing called pride. Women on the other hand, especially ones going through a divorce, have this thing called revenge, and they wield it well. Most guys who divorce just want to get the fuck out and never look back. Most women who divorce just want to get obsessed with getting back at the guy who stole XX years of their life.

Yeah, I know that heh...One of my many current roommates is divorcing her husband..and she can't talk abot anythign without beinging him into the conversation and talking shit about him. Really..when women get divorced, it seems that it becomes their latest obsession until its all done and over with.

Now, when it comes to divorce when a kids involved..I say split that kid 50/50 heh. Not as in with a chainsaw, ala Tales from the Crypt..but more like give that kid to the other parent every week and just split time equally. This chick I'm livin with is just a bitch..yes, I know the man (according to you) is a moron and doesn't know how to raise his child, but I am not going to listen to purly your side of the story and make a call on this...Not until I meet the man, and determine for myself that he truly is the moron you say he is. Give him his kid..he had a part in makin her, just cuz you had the painful part makes him no less of her father.

Sorry..had to rant that part..this bitch is really gettin under my skin about this whole thing...and the worst part is shes already got a new b/f..who has his own kid too (even more spoiled than her daughter!)

I broke up with my first love last year after 4 years. She attempted to get me fired, kicked out of school, evicted, managed to get my family to despise me, turned my friends against me while getting them arrested in the process. All I did was say "Hey, can I get that sweatshirt back."

Im my familys history both sides brought equaly and then the men got screwed. Which is why i've never been close to marrage realy. Women see it as stealing from them. I sit in a college course with a woman whos husband is a lawyer and is evicting them from his home because she wont pay rent. Instead of saying "well its cause i dont pay rent" all i hear is "hes a bastard, he owns 4 other houses why kick me out of this one. hes such an asshole" Its sad but true that women find it better to bitch about the man instead of rationalizing it.
