People all across the office are patting me on the back, shaking their heads and expressing their sorrows for the upsetting amount of bullshit that I'm going to be putting up with today. Little do they know I'm running on about 4 hours of cumulative sleep (if that, it was all restless anyway) and a preceeding night spent telling the expedia.com folks to (if I recall correctly) lick my scrotum until their tongues bled.

So what am I doing today? Well, aside from fighting two hours both ways of Los Angeles traffic, I've got three meetings this morning and afternoon. Two of which are clients whom I hate, and the other is a client whom I have not met or heard of, but I'm sure that I will hate them nonetheless. Now my boss has come up and asked me to stay an extra half hour when we get back, which taking into account LA and Memorial Day traffic, should be somewhere around midnight...Sunday. This is so he can get another one of our sites online. Who really cares, I doubt I'll last ten minutes without murdering someone, or stabbing myself in the eyes with a McDonald's plastic spork. Either way, I get to go to a hospital. Fate will decide whether or not it has padded walls.

I went to Burger King this morning for some delicious Cini-Minis and an Orange Juice. Greg, the half-ton manchild of a manager, noticed the unnerved and no-doubt homicidal look on my mug, and told me to "Cheer up! It's Friday and a 3-day weekend pal!"

I stared Greg in the eyes for about ten seconds. He started getting very nervous, so I asked him politely for a job application. He got my food pretty quickly after that.

Jesus H, am I a prick today. Thankfully I'm underpaid, so when I strangle a client or three today, it'll be seen as salary negotiation. At least, that's what I'll tell the police.

Taco hells's sporks break on a damn mexican pizza...then need to come out with some metal sporks that would rule :D
