yah sorry about that drcorey. i have 8 lines full of other people uploading. but it's still fairly fast, or at least faster for downloads. you can get prolly 20kb/sec for dls
if mud:mud won't work for the uploads directory, (since i'm not there right now and can't edit the account) use
ftp://download:warez@ftp.majormud.com/apps/mud%20stuff/uploads/
to get in and dl :D

Re: dos stuff [Archive] - ForumsHQ
im dling dos and wg as i write, does someone have the original 1.11i? no crack or anything cos i got the race/class and other crack for it i got the mod 9 dll as well, but if i put that over the original file will it make it obsolete?
and does anyone have the 256 user dos version of mud? i cant find the dos version of 1.11h or anything anywhere and i dunno where to get the mods for it. so if someone feels like a new project for cracking it go right ahead.
Does anyone know how to network dos and xp machines together?

Yeh you need to download a DOS LAN program, you can find those at ftp.microsoft.com under bussys/clients/ or something like that, d/l MS client i found it to be the best. then you need to install Netbeui in Windows XP, you can find dorections for that on the microsoft support site. As a general rule, you can't access files on the DOS machine, at least i havn't been able to, but i can get files from my XP machine no problem
hope this helps
