What Lag? If your on RoadRunner cable i can see it happening, but otherwise nobody else seems to notice any lag.

Also, on a note to those of you who felt you were treated unfailrly. I just wrote a nice email to all the operators discussing what i consider "Gestappo Tactics". The use of brute force to moderate potential problems. I assure you this wont be happening again in the future, and if it does there will be certain "cutbacks" in the staffing as a result. I will *NOT* tolerate this sort behavior towards the users, there here to have fun on JerkyBBS, not feel were full of "Jerks" to quote Aragon once upon a time. Yes, I haven't wrote in this forum for quite some time because Invisigod has been taking care of most of it, but it would appear there have been some discrepancies that need to be taken care of. *#1 is that I had no clue that TheBoss had done any bombing of anyone as far as I know, and #2 is that new user emails get sent to apparently an irresponsible member of our staff...I will get that cleared up IMMEDIATELY. *I've been keeping the technical end of it up and going meanwhile no one has thought to email SYSOP with any problems they may be having with the board in general, to include account validation or any other things. *

One minor detail is that I have removed the validation requirement, so USER class can now access the board, just not MajorMUD. *If you send an email to SYSOP it will be given to you IMMEDIATELY once I log on (which is usually 10-20 times a day). *Apparently validation hasn't been done in a timely manner by those I had asked to do it* and I plan to clear up our problems since I obviously can't rely on people to validate users. * * *

It's amazing how I never hear about any problems when I log on, yet everyone claims "I have this and that and this and that problem" in FORUMS instead of emailing SYSOP about it.

OK, now that I'm done ranting, on with some good news. Invisigod has done a great job on the board, I just wish I had about 5 more ops that good. I may take some of the editing into my own hands soon, and I've added a few new spells to the regimen (such as a Druid spell called Starfire which does some decent damage) as well as plans for more interesting things. I may need some suggestions on edits so feel free to drop emails with ideas. One thing I need some help with is implementing an Enchanter class in mmud. Any ideas?

There was a bit of a contraversy surrounding JerkyBBS at one time and it kind of killed there reputation. Used to be a ncie bumpin board, i did there edits for majormud before i set lunar back up.
