[Stupid]

Since these two systems have both dropped to where I was waiting for, which one of the two is the better?

Which games are good for each system?

uhm... ya shoulda done a poll...

xbox looks likes it's got lossa good games on its way, and definitely potentially much better system.

truthfully, i think a dc is even better than a ps2, and there're much more downloadable free games for it. my collection is up to 50 or so heh

I own a ps2 and am planning on getting an Xbox as well. Ps2 is really freaking good, but the Xbox has WAY better gfx and sound. If you do get an Xbox make sure to buy the "S" Controller.. cuz the other one is just way to huge

LOL an Xbox is just two year old PC technology stuffed into a case. The PC is a better platform than any of the consoles. Not to mention that unless you have HDTV (and you probably don't) you are stuck at 648x486 resoultion... not very impressive. About the only winning arguement could be made over price. But it really doesn't take that much more money to have a PC capable of better gaming. After all you can beat an XBox with a 700Mhz processor and good video card.

According to the past E3 convention... PS2 is where all the good shit is goinin... XBOX and Gamecube have flopped... 1/2 of the 'Console' part of the show was JUST the PS2...

Consoles are inferior to PC's for gaming period. By the time you buy a console, an extra controller or two and a couple of games you could have a PC that plays games as well if not better and be able to play online. Not to mention the fact that it's not too hard to get PC software for free on the net, and even if you purchase the games they are generally cheaper.
