I love the show, same with Survivorman. Even after I read this article, I'll still watch the show.

That whole hotel thing is a bunch of crap. Just because he plays the role on a tv show doesnt mean hes going to do it in his daily routine. Give me a break.

Next they are going to so say he really didnt eat live fish, snakes, scorpions, etc etc.

People take TV way to seriously. I could give a rats ass if the thing was filmed on a set and he walked off stage and grabbed a latte afterwards. The show shows you what it takes to survive harsh terrain and its entertaining.

I wouldn't be surprised if these articles stem from peta advocates.

funniest comment ever. next time he should give it a mini shield and spear before he eats it.. that way no one has anything to complain about.

I think the major point of the article is that he claims he spends the whole time outdoors, but is really getting away into a cozy hotel.

I could care less, just found it interesting. I'd still watch the show even if he'd been up front and just demonstrated the shit, not claiming to actually survive a week "on his own".

I did always wonder what the camera crew did when he set up his shelters for the night. He never makes them large enough for more than 1. Often wondered if they brought tents and other gear, food, etc. And if so, who's to say they weren't kicking him down with provisions?

Yup. I wondered the same thing when i first saw it.
