FOR WHAT? QUESTIONS HER UBER SYSOP ABILITY? Talk about a lame f'uking sysop. Not to mention she actively play in the realm, which would be an obvious advantage, she also can't handle being a sysop for a moment. The slightest bit of questioning these fictional rules, and she hauls off and suspends both of my chars?

Sorry iNViSiGOD, but all that hard work you put into LunarDynamics is going to be flushed by another no-name sysop on a power-trip making up ludacris rules that players should have to abide by, when the Sysop should get off her lazy ass and fix them herself.

ANYONE who wants to HAVE FUN, SCRIPT BOSSES IN THERE LOOPS, and NOT BE SUSPENDED BY POWER-HUNGRY IDIOTIC SYSOPS, SHOULD -NOT- PLAY AT LUNAR DYNAMICS.

I was really looking forward to this reset, letting everyone have a fresh start.. Of course someone is already at like 20mil experience in the first few days, and im SURE THEY WILL NEVER HIT A BOSS IN THERE LOOP.

Another good reason why I create good realms and the rest just burn to the ground, because Sysops are idiots most the time and don't know wtf they are talking about and then when they are questioned, there only reply is sys lightning, sys jail, suspension. WEAK, LAME, STUPID.

Miles never has been much for abiding what sysops ask. Then the sysops make it a rule, and it intices him to doit more. Then when busted again he claims it's lame. Mile get your board up and running please. I want to play there just to give you hell.

Laugh this sounds very weird and retarded all at once. I wonder if Vis has given the reigns over so that he can focus more on his Trade Winds Project. I see that his handle is still listed as an active sysop and I could never see him promoting somebody he didn't believe would run the board with his vision, but you never know. I just think that unless you left something out, this breaks most of what I would call good sysop principals and is not a good way to keep users let alone get new ones. It stands to reason that less is more. Meaning less rules the more successful a board will be. Nobody wants sysop interference it just ruins the game. If your going to make rules for a board make them early on in the life of the game and make them clear, well thought out and easy to find. Enforce them equally across the board. If new rules should need to be put in to place polling your users to find out if the rule is worth of implementation is probably by far the best way. A successful board relies on happy users. I have a board a time or to and understand that it is a very thankless job, but it is something you wish to work or not. If you don't want a successful board or work with your users then resign or shut down. This should be pretty simple for most people. Although it seems for more and more sysops as of late like trying to put a square peg in circle hole.

Miles, I don't appreciate you attacking Lunar with a thread title like "Lamer Dynamics" you sir have no right to do what you just did, I was one of the first to run an edited BBS and felt after years I had to move on to other things, if you don't like it, stay off it and mind your own BBS, not Lunar.

If I didn't agree with you or your BBS I would not have written a post with a topic like you did, that was childish and offensive on several levels. No wonder I'm going to resign from here as op and user, I'm so sick of shit posts like this that do nothing more than bitch about something now going how people want it to.

Come on Invisi.. you gotta admit.. scripting bosses = ban is pretty damn stupid.

Donno who you left in charge of the bbs... but they banned me as well and I dont believe I even did anything lol. Oh well.

This reminds me of the way Shannon acted as sysop on her bbs many moons ago.

i don't recall talsoi bosses being in any kind of quest. if someone can point me to a resource that says otherwise, post it here.

Shrug, last time I played on miles' old board, he had a fix for this. Instant-rgen 3rd quest mobs worth 1 exp. Problem solved, quest whenever you'd like.

1) I was trying to help. Putting a boss in your loop is part of the game, and if they think they can monitor the entire BBS, it's crap.



2) There is more than one way to fix these problems. Like Ari said, or like I suggested. I ask why not fix it, she ask why not follow the rules? Wtf? Instead, Wendigo got on her high horse and a lil power trip hissy fit.



3) I agree that I handled it immaturely, and it was probably a uncalled for.. But was suspending me called for?



Did my 'words' really break that many rules? It's lame sysoping at it's finest. And like I said, it really disappoints me since LunarDynamics is a 'legendary' and great board, and I was looking forward to playing it again. Goes to show what the wrong mindset in management can do to a quality editing job or idea.
