This thread is for Vis's TW server. I just got confused as all hell trying to make sense of who is talking about which server. Please create another thread for another server.

@invisigod - you need to find time to sit down and chat with me about this whole thing. everytime i try your either signing off or busy chatting with others.

@ari - i just tested the standard user creation on my server with firefox and it worked just fine

@zan - im not making a second server to compete with invisi's. i just have it up for test purposes because i dont have any access to his. im just asking people to log in there, and test to see if the build i have is any better than the one hes currently running, if so then some changes need to be made.

@speed - done

All future msgs about my test server plz go here

I'm currently experimenting around with getting two clients going at the same time if it works I'll post directions here. For bugs and glitches I'll keep finding them and posting them here.....

But we are still in Beta so Im sure we can expect many changes before it goes public. SO it may not be good right now because of regen and stuff but Im sure Invisi will fix it if possible.

We should set up a Ventrilo server for us to use when we are all on. I have one but itll only be up when Im connected to the internet which is only late in the evening. But anyone with a constant connection like Broadband could host it and I could tell them how and everything. Fairly simple really.

Please reply if you would be willing to host it. Only for us testers for now, so thats like 10 people? 10 people being able to communicate no matter which side you are on and where would be very helpful.

Ok this is my guide on how to run two WoW clients on one computer at the same time. Or if you wish one can be for legit and the other can be for Private servers. I'll list it in steps.

1. Find where you installed WoW and copy the main folder to another location.

2. Try to run WoW if it fails then go back into main folder and go to the data folder find a file called "patch.mpq" and copy it.

3. Now copy that file into the copied WoW folder but inside of the data folder should look excatly like the one you copied the file from. Press yes to copy over it.

4. Attempt to run two Clients at the same time it SHOULD work if it doesnt then feel free to ask for clarification on any of the steps.

I hope this is helpful for everyone that wants access to legit and non-legit servers like me ........

:yeah:

Oh I'm wondering, Invisi, where we are going to get more testers? We should have some more. At this rate we are not gonna be done testing for months. If you wish I could ask a couple of my GOOD friends in real life to help? Please get back to me on this subject.

I have just setup a teamspeak server for all of forumshq. It will then be broken down into sections just like it is here. I refer you to this post.

I picked TeamSpeak only because I like the way its setup almost like a forum. Good idea DLOT :)

Teamspeak is almost identical to Ventrilo in many ways besides the layout so either would be fine. And I thank you Ghaleon on setting us up one. This will provide the much needed ability of communication without having to deal with location, side and many other factors. We all should be grateful.

I'm currently downloading the application.
