yeah, probably because nobody cared to post the truth or the people who started most of this. seems like some people would rather bask silently in the glory while the true innovators are completely forgotten.

while you're at it, why aren't you bitching about the fact that j.r.r. tolkien and gary gygax aren't getting any credit, for their groundbreaking work in fantasy novels and rpgs? how about the creators of the first real mud (diku if i'm not mistaken?) or sean ferrell for putting out tele-arena, which inspired lance to create mmud in competition? there's a lot of people who contributed to this game and everything else in life, it's all interconnected.
