Actually, smash for regular combat is far better than regular attacking. FAR better legit. If you have a weapon like the DTT or higher, I'd highly reccomend smashing over attacking for everything. You'll average FAR more damage. I would reccomend scripting smash..you'll make more exp. Of course, if you're playing edited where you have 200 agil and 200 int then attack, of course...but smashing in legit is much better, thats why you see most new tanks in legit being HOG..because you don't need agil or int or charm to get your best rounds and averages, smash is the best for tanks.

I do stand corrected, I have rescently switched to BASH and I'm getting 3 to 5 attacks p/round (on an edited) and now averaging 2 to 3x the damage p/round and about double the exp I was before, (clerics dont get smash) so when you need 100+ million between levels, it's nice to double the amount of exp your making.

Heh..Pan, Clerics do get smash, at level 25 I believe. But, if you're high enough level to get 3-5 bashes, you don't need to smash anyway. Bashing is the best form of combat if you get enough swings to make it that way.
