Hello All!
I recently installed and configured Synchronet BBS.
I've been logging in and out to perfect it and make it look how I want it to and on my 3rd logon attempt is said that I have used all of my logins today.Does anyone know how to change this value so I can login an infinite number of times?
Thankyou VERY MUCH in advance!!!
Synchronet BBS Problems
Re: Synchronet BBS Problems
It's a setting for security levels... look up your own security level (should be 99 for sysop, which by default has unlim logins per day, did you mess up some setting???) and then find that security level in the editor and give it more logins...
For more thorough Synchronet support, try DoveNet (hub: telnet://bbs.synchro.net ) as that's the official place and you'll get a good answer there.

Re: Synchronet BBS Problems
I don't recommend giving sysop-level access to anyone who you don't personally know very well and trust. Possible problems w/ doing this can range from getting your system hacked, to getting your licensed software ending up on pirate/warez sites (which will get you in big leagal trouble). I've seen "friendly" co-sysops do both to numerous newbies...
In other words, sorry but you REALLY should just read the Synchronet docs carefully and set it up yourself. Giving sysop access to a stranger is a really, really bad idea.
