Yes, that is amazingly ironic if it was true. I am very often rude, but nowhere near the abrasive caliber of people like you.

I know i have a tendency to use rather caustic language from time to time. Most the time I say soemthing along the lines of you smurfer or use smurfette, and I normally actually type out the word s-m-u-r-f rather than the filter changing it, but thats generally the extent of me being rude. I posted a reasonable question, it got erased, I reposted it until I was asked to stop posting it. Unless moderators think its rude when you post a questioning asking why a thread was locked. Either way when I was asked to "stop it" which was all the more the message said I stoped and posted a quote of the pm she sent me followed by a smileyface and something like "You are a bloody riot today daymia". And just glancing around the first post I saw by you was "What the hell are you talking about? What I posted made perfect sense and you are either purposely acting stupid, or just not acting at all."

You are sugar-coating your side of things again. You didn't politely ask why a thread was locked, you demanded to know. It wasn't even your thread. Moderators are under no obligation to cave in to every rude demand made on the forum. In fact they would look pretty bad if they did respond every time some dick feels it is his birthright to demand something on the forum. Also, it doesn't take a lot of sense to realize moderators have locked/deleted something for a reason, and reposting the same demand repeatedly is just going to aggravate them even more.

As for my comment, yes, you went ahead and picked the most rude post you could find by me. And it was in reply to Lazarus Plus, so I don't think much more needs to be said about that.

obligated ... no, but should they ... i think so. for one, we rarely ever delete posts here. if they are deleted, the user is notified of why. if a thread is locked, it is either very obvious of why it was locked or we post a message saying why. i'm not familiar with either of your posting habbits on mudcentral, but i do see threads/posts getting locked/deleted an awful lot on there and usually it's unwaranted. i don't think it's asking too much just for an explanation. it kinda follows metros whole theme of keepinig its users in the dark about everything.

Ahhhh finaly someone who knows how to do quests!.. how would you feel about fixing the standard quests for my new class's and adding sone new quests..

well the only reason i even posted it is cause it was the first thing i saw you say. Either way you dont need to delete a thread just because you don't feel like you have an obligation to respond. I'm sure there would have been several very entertaining responces to the thread which probably would have been far more satisfying than any reason a moderator would have come up with.

Allow me to bring you into the light some.

Shannon, who is ultimately in charge of the MudCentral forums, was tired of the constant flames, bitching, and moaning that the forums have degraded into. She wants moderation to be more strictly enforced against things like, "This sucks. You suck. You are gay, idiot."

Like you said, mods aren't under any obligation to give reasons to users, but it would be nice if they did. Of course, most of the moderators have no problem explaining why something was locked/deleted if a person comes to them maturely and politely. If a person just posts with, "Why the hell was blah blah locked!" then there shouldn't be much surprise when a mod doesn't rush to clear things up with that person. And then when a user repeatedly spams rudeness and demands like that there should really be no wonder why they are warned and then temp banned.

*edit: Trust me, there's a lot of threads that I would have like to have kept open to read all the shit that goes on in them. MudCentral is a more strictly moderated forum, however, so that isn't how it works. If you want certain shit like that then you go somewhere with little or no rules like this forum and then you don't have to worry about having a thread locked for calling someone a cunt or stupid skank.

The rude part of my post asking about why the monk post was locked wasnt even me, someone else said that recently you've all been nazi's. There were like 5 posts in that thread I wasn't responsible for. I didn't even say "HELL" The second time I posted it I said Ok this is getting funny I really wanna know why that post was deleted. Then that post was deleted. All i know is that its really rare that I say anything thats any ruder than just your avg post and that nothing in any of my recently deleted posts even begins to infringe on any of the posted rules in the forum. Them being deleted was just some really bizzare moderator fiat.

If you say, "Ok, I want to know why that post was locked." then you may or may not get a reason. When your post questioning it is deleted then it should be pretty clear they are clearing up crap for one reason or another. You then spam every forum with shit, and repeatedly post demanding to be told why. Even after a moderator PMs you telling you to stop it you just keep going and going, even pasting the PM and calling them hilarious and all that. Come on... can you really not fathom how your constant pushing and rudeness escalated a small situation into a temporary ban?

Its absolutely amazing that with some of the things I've heard you and Daymia say in the past a message that says

"Stop it" Posted by Daymia

Laugh your a bloody riot today

is considered rude.
