Spybot is a very nice piece of software that i recommend. It gets rid of spyware. Found shit i didn't even know I had on my pc (well i guess that's the definition of spyware anyway). It's for windows by the way.

Ad-aware by lavasoft also is a great one, and has a freeware version that only strips and does not live monitor.. but who wants a live monitor anyways?

ALSO: Do a google for A Sqaured Malware, its a nice program for removing trojans, malware, hijackers, worms and other shitties that may get on your PC, and its free.
