Anyone like live muds anymore?

Hey all im new to forumshq just started a couple days ago but i was wondering if anyone plays live anymore. Its seems rather difficult to find a live bbs i havent seen one in quite a while. Was wondering if anyone was interested in hosting one. I would host one myself but im on lame dial-up and i dont think it would work so well :nope: But anyways i guess just post after this or get in touch with me through msn/aim/yahoo. Anyways hope to get some replys of ppl who have the time and want to start or play a live mud.

Yeah, live muds are the best imo. You get to learn the game, and actually watch your character grow, rather than letting a machien do it for you. I'd be interested in hosting one, but I dont have dedicated server or anything, so it wouldnt be good :(

I'ts not exactly a live mud, but of all the boards i've played recently (OMC, Morbid, Lunar, Dragon, Mudders, Illuzion, Untryiampi, triponamy, dragstrip, blackdragon, dragonbane, dewicked, ROFG) MudRevolution is the closest to live. In saying that i mean;

There is someone at keys - not usually just sitting watching a roamer either - at almost every hour of the day / night etc.



Live muds are what make great players, particularly great pvp'ers. Something I also think is that alot of players who've never played a live mud probably don't realise that by doing so, even if in the long run they choose to play mostly afk, they will actually be better at getting exp as they have a greater understanding of the areas and of what they can and can't handle etc; etc;. hm.

Yeah pyro i was hoping for someone that likes live muds would have the time to actually sysop a live bbs i would if i had the proper utilities but at the moment i dont. So anyone out there willing to host a live mud get in touch with me because i have played before and if i can get in touch with the right people then i know many who have played live muds from my experience on several. And yes live as in no scripting.

What i was saying, was that non scripting (live) realms are excellent breeding grounds for very good players, even if they end up choosing to roam on a scripting board, by cutting their teeth live they will be better off than those that log on, piss around newhaven a bit, then roam eternally.



I like live muds. Id love to help with the hosting but im on a dialup in Australia :P

Yeah i know what you mean Pyro i wish i could host or help host a live mud but im also on dial-up for the time being...well anyways if your out there with a descent fast reliable internet and have the time for a live mud then send me back a post :wordup:

By the way anyone if you have ever played a live mud or know anyone who was let them know to post and you should to. Maybe even someone already with a bbs that could open up a live mud also on the same ip. Whichever it would be a lot of fun with a new live mud and lots of users.

Perhaps no one has the time for live mud because it does take up time. I just do because im not an adult with a job and have lots of spare time, too bad most peeps that play mud are so old haha. But im sure there has to be a few people out there that want to play and/or host one and those ppl(s) need to come here and post.
