with all that stuff man, you could have just bought a nice 36GB RAID0 Array and get like
erek# dd if=/dev/da0s1a of=/dev/null bs=8096k
^C125+0 records in
125+0 records out
2036288000 bytes transferred in 13.817310 secs (144999258 bytes/sec)
erek#
144MB/Sec sustained (that's a 2GB transfer so you know it's not cached)
wouldn't that be cool to have the OS on that kindof speed instead of all those comps?
it was only $500 for the two drives and like $200 for the controller and $50 for the cache
come on ray man :\

I aint even gonna list my piece of junk right now. it aint worth it. not compared to the machines you guys are running.
But when I win the lottery and get the outta debt, I'll get myself a kick assed machine.

Ehh, here goes cuz I'm bored..
-=Frankensheist=-
Gateway somethin or other MOBO 333mhz FSB
Intel Penium IV 1.8ghz CPU
512MB of Corsair DDR333 RAM
80GB Western Digital somethin 7200rpm (storage, games)
20GB Western Digital somethin 5200rpm (system drive)
Lite-on 52x CD-ROM
Mitsumi external CD-R/RW
Samsung POS DVD-ROM (doesn't work.. spit..)
Ge-Force 3 128mb (dun remember all the stats)
19" Samsung monitor
On-board Realtek sound
Logitech wireless optical mouse (only thing I paid for)
I took all the parts from 4 different systems that I upgraded for a couple people and stuffed em into a gateway case, which required some soldering as wiring is a little different for LED's and such. Altogether, tho, it's a great system, has no trouble running the latest games and apps.
