Lets test out this NGS version - looks bad ass...



oh, and it will no be policed by a person that plays for the time being.. This version looks to have better 'cheater' options in the admin panel... Continue reporting oddness...



Our 3500 sector universe has:



70 upgrade ports

630 ore ports

455 organics ports

630 goods ports

455 energy ports

100.00% initial commodities to sell

100.00% initial commodities to buy

1260 empty sectors

17 Federation sectors

350 unowned planets



Roughly 17500 links

Roughly 1400 two-way links

Roughly 2100 one-way links



Update ticks will occur every 5 minutes

The Kabal will play every 1 minutes

Interests on igb accounts will be accumulated every 2 minutes

News will be generated every 1 minutes

Planets will generate production every 2 minutes

Spies will act every 2 minutes

Ports will regenerate every 2 minutes

Ships will be towed from fed sectors every 1 minutes

Rankings will be generated every 1 minutes

Sector Defences will degrade every 6 minutes

The planetary apocalypse will occur every 15 minutes

The public list updater will occur every 60 minutes

This version while having GOOD graphics is STRANGE.... It also appears that there are NO stable warp link series.... like 1 2 3 then you gotta realspace to 4 i believe.... makes shit messed up./

Relorian, that's how the game SHOULD be. There shouldn't be a linear 3500 like last time. Hopefully this version is more TW2002 style, it sounds a little better at least. I might play.

Its annoying as fuck for starting out speed

..... and i think Federation space would me a lil more liniear

I dislike any type of linear space. I love being able to actually HIDE my f'king planets now. Before you weren't able to, since if you go to 2000 and there's no link to 2001, there's probably something hidden in it. It's so much nicer this way and easier to keep an empire growing strong. I guess for starting out it's annoying as fuck. I wasn't paying attention and used a couple hundred turns to realspace to my planets yesterday with like 4 engine power, lol.
