true, there are better mobos, but for the price they really seem to deliver.

I was running a Soyo Dragon Lite for a while, but I found that it ran EXTREMELY hot. my system was constantly shutting down because of the over heating problem.
I had a AMD XP 2800+ with a Tornado 11 cooler, 24" tower with 5 case fans.
with all the air flow, I shouldn't have had a problem with over heating. As to say I wasn't impressed with Soyo. and I have reverted back to my ECS.

ECS? i can shit in a bowl and it'd be better to run a processor on than an ECS

Abit is my recommendation as a computer tech. Im assuming your running a barton core. What type of memory? PC2700? PC3200? As for the cooler you might want to look into a Thermaltake VOlcano 11+ i heard good things about those. As for soyo boards they did make a nice searies out of the dragons, many people were happy with them.

Yeah well compared to running that POS Soyo Dragon,
I'd rather stay with the ECS.
Atleast it doesn't overheat and shut down every couple of hours.
I'll never purchase another Soyo product, I have had nothing but problems trying to return the piece of sh**, they tell me it's my system and there is nothing wrong with their board. Then the tech I talked to had the gall to tell me that I'm not a technican and that I dont know what the hell I'm doing. F**K my hang-nails have more technical knowledge than that asshºle.

Could have been just a bad board, it happens.
But I can't affoard to put a lot of cash into another mobo, unless those bastards at the place I got my board from take the POS back.
