Is there any way to make the new room #'s go in sequence with the previous room #'s to make it easier to just zip through making a big area. It keeps the same map #, but the room # defaults to room 9000 on new rooms. I'm not sure if that's possible, but it's a feature I'd really like to see. :D

only if you start at 9000, if you start at anything other than that it doesn't.

i think he means like..say you start on map 9k making an area..every time NMR asks you for a room number, its already the next highest #..like 9001, 9002, etc..but what if you want to go make maps from 7k+, it still suggests 9003+..

At least, I think thats what he's saying..I dunno, I don't have this problem because all of mine are consecutive with the last area anyway:)

the map editor remembers the last number that was in there. if you want to start at 7000 then enter 7000 and start making maps. if you want to start at 10000 then enter 10000 and start walking around. am i still missing something?

it defaults to 9000, it doesn't follow up from the last room # entered. Maybe I'm on an older version, but I just did 500+ rooms in the editor and it wouldn't default back to anything but 9000, until I got to 9000 and then it started counting up.

using v1.2 ... I went into the map editor, changed the 9000 in "next new room" to 7000, created a room NE from TS (it auto-changed the 7000 to 7001), closed the map editor, closed NMR, opened it back up and went to map editor, and 7001 is still there. i dont see the problem.
