If that's the problem, though, you can go to the processes tab in task manager and set your megamud.exe to above normal priority and it should work OK

I have setup megamud to type "par" upon entry (the option is under Other in the settings).. if "mortally wounded" message is seen it hangs, otherwise it proceeds as normal with it's @comeback's and all. Thanks all for the help.. Good thing mega lets us set messages, otherwise we'd never get anywhere in it.

I simply informed all the people (Including you) that didn't read the rest of the thread that Rust had already pointed this out. I fail to see how making people see that something has already been tested as being useless.
are you running any other progs during this time? cs? war3?
