Nightmare error?? Never had this one... [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Dunno what this is: Been getting alot but it would usually happen when i had two nigtmares open, but now when i open even one it does it:

Now i reset the computer, and Nightmare will allow me to edit and all that. But when i goto compile its does this:

Nevermind, it has stopped ;) I had to move a new wccupda2.dat to the backup dir. Shrug

dude.. dont edit with the bbs running.. this is stressed time and time again. YOU WILL corrupt your database. Shit you might not notice is probably already twacked out.. monsters casting the wrong spells, monster regenning in rooms they shouldnt be ect.. it will happen. just a question of when if you dont stop.

nod, just a big prob, grin. Prolly gonna have to reinstall the live realm...crashed when someone rerolled, and this same person had like 200+k when they entered...very weird.

I get that problem too. goes away when you take the board down. it rarely happens. the only drawback to editing with the board up. just a minor inconvenience. I've never had anything screw up because of it.
