The Dreadlord of Blood and Ozrinom the Vampire Lord with their buddies do more damage than that. By far. Plus there's several monsters with instant kill spells. Death Shrieker, Zanathus the Lich, mind flayers, rotting beholder, any vampire, probably a few others. The latter few are level restricted, but they can still insta kill if you get low and fail their hp check.

Nod, dxp. Gayest, not hardest. There are several rooms in mud where you can get bitchslapped for 1k damage in a round. Though it's rarely from spells, so that archmage takes the cake. hehe

You realize, of course, that while the touches with a ghostly hand thing is a physical attack (or at least it is on the banshee)?
On the other side of the coin, what happens to you in Ozrinom's room is rarely physical. But here's the absolutely "gayest" thing: The version j Dark Mage. He can do 1k a round in ROOM DRAIN. On top of healing him for 1k for each person in the room, drain is not effected by MR and there's no item the negates his storm so there's absolutely no defense. While I don't see how looking at the files now, I could swear the son of a bitch hit me with 2 necro storms [I]and[\I] 2 necromantic beams in 1 round. Doesn't get any "gayer" than that.

Hehe.. wow... That's what I hate about many high bosses. You need luck to kill them. Like if the mage doesn't storm, you can kill him easy. If he storms the first round, you're hosed.
