my friend just setup 1.11i and limited items like the questors aren't in their spots. what's the prob?

yeah it has been asked a million times, but i put that file there for apply an update and it says invalid file....

Ok I think this is a 1.11i thing....i did some edits on nightmare, i loaded the bbs and went into mud, the edits were there for about 5 minutes but then poof they were gone...i think its because i didnt do the compile the update thing on the editer. so i then re did the edits then ran the compiler...then went and ran the recovery for the mud.. The recovery said unusual error please upgrade to the latest version or somthin like that then was deleting active stuff then finished....

is this normal?
