Something is seriously screwed up. Both of my characters on my board are level 50 and can't get anymore exp, with less than 1 billion exp. However the top player has OVER 1 billion, is level 50, and is still getting exp. I have 1.11g... what the heck is goin on here? I know there's a cap at a certain point, but on Invisigod's old board I was level 64 with over 4 billion exp before I capped.

now this message seems kinda ambiguous, but i'll try and help ya out.

try this:

go into general setup of worldgroup, under the majormud heading and go into somethin that says, "levels of exp gained before ya have to train" or somethin, the default is 1, which seems like there would be your problem, you wanna set it to the max, which should be 16.

U cant have it over like 10 levels or you wont be able to gain exp once you reach level 50. Set you level obtained before train to like 7-8 and you should be ok!

See I had it set to 16 levels, but I had most recently been playin on a board (jerkybbs.darktech.org) where I got up to level 64 before I couldn't train anymore, and I trained at every opportunity. This is why I was confused, but fortunately the problem has been taken care of so thanks to whoever hooked me up.
