Database not found [Archive] - ForumsHQ

When i apply some of my own updates it says:

MajorMud - Found database update 12/16/01

MajorMud- No update database found - Game not started

Any suggestions?

To me that means that you deleted your wccupda2.dat file and your wccmmud.dll wasnt cracked correctly to disable the update file. In order to edit the wcc*.dat files you need to disable the wccmmud.dll from running updates and correcting the problems.. most people will delete the wccupda2.dat after cracking so they can change things.. obviously your crack didnt work the way you wanted it to.

Nod, thats what it was, i got the patch to work correctly this time arouns so were in business finally with the other mud setup. What a pain in the ass.
