ok i got this program from ...... hell i don't remember but anyway.

directions say to copy wcc*.* wbb*.* and then drop about 5 files into the bbs directory... i did that and tried to boot up my system and nothing getting errors with one mud and the other isn't working any better

i have a majormud and a minormud (2nd realm) on the menu tree. I've tried to make mod 9 and mod 8 both the second mud and every time something goes wrong not sure what or how but everytime (third time i've tried without success) something goes wrong.

I also saw something about a wbb.exe file on the morbid ftp but i've tried for weeks to get on there again without success.

I'm out of ideas can someone help?

Desparetly tryin to get matrix online back up and running

Oh yeah one more thing i've lost the dll for mod8 that allows the edited sysop commands would love another copy of it

Try these directions:

goto DOS, and locate the worldgroup server directory

Default dir is: "cd \progra~1\galact~1\worldg~1\" (Without the quotes)

Type in "copy wcc*.* wbb*.*" (without quotes)

After it is finsihed, get a hex editor

Open the file wbbmmud.dll

Use the find and replace option (hopefully you have it) to replace all "wcc" with "wbb" (no quotes)

Save that file

Now open up wbbmmutl.exe

Use find and replace to replace "wcc" with "wbb" (no quotes)

Save the file

open up wbbmmpls.mdf

Use find and replace to replace "wcc" with "wbb" (no quotes)

Use find and replace to replace "MajorMUD Plus" with "MajorMUD Plus2" (no quotes)

save the file

open up wbbmmud.mdf

use find and replace to replace "wcc" with "wbb" (no quotes)

use find and replace to replace "MajorMUD" with "MMUD2" (no quotes)

save the file

Now open up the menu tree editor, and add the second realm

The module name will be "MMUD2"

Dont know if tis possible, MOD9 uses a different coding scheme. If you need to edit MOD8 just copy it to a temp directory, do a rename wbb*.* wcc*.* and load nightmare. If you do this remember *YOU MUST DO A RENAME WCC*.* WBB*.* or it will overwrite the MOD9 realm.

well well well... We got 3 realms and rose installed on our server with no problems...

waa, wbb,wcc and soon wdd!!

If you are running rose, you can only have 2 muds running because of a Btrieve Error 87 with wgskey.dat

well it so happenes btrieve error 87 HAS to do with max number of open BTRIEVE files reached... SO.. do a little reg finding for btrieve and you will see the mysterious shit that btrieve does and how to fix ERROR 87....

stupid errors... BAH why the hell make 100 files the max... talk about a bunch of dumbshits...
