Level 2 Solo Quest Run [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Loaded up my copy of doorMUD and took a quick run tonight. I solo the Sasquatch and took his foot to The King of the Elves. The walk through the Havenwood Forest, directly to the Sasquatch, was easy for my level 2 character. The Sasquatch almost killed me.

Strength: 17 Dexterity: 8 Stealth: 0

kix is a level 2 Dwarf Gladiator.

kix is in a defensive stance!

kix is using:

main gauche

emerald ring

heavy robes

mace

You drink the orc battle potion.

You start foaming at the mouth!!!

You take a defensive stance.

You stare into space blankly!

You critically smash sasquatch for 16 damage!

Sasquatch is dead!

You gain 50 experience points.

A sasquatch foot drops to the ground!

You stare into space blankly!

Havenwood Forest

You notice sasquatch foot lying here.

Obvious exits: north, east, south, west.

[ HP:44 MF:2969 ] [100%]: get foot

You get sasquatch foot.

[ HP:40 MF:2969 ] [100%]: look foot

You notice nothing special about sasquatch foot.



[ HP:47 MF:2965 ]: se

Elven Fortress, Entrance

Looks like the only way to gain entrance is to talk to the guardsman...

You see elven guardsman here.

Obvious exits: locked gate east, northwest.

[ HP:47 MF:2965 ]: greet elven

The guardsman escourts you to the King of the Elves.

Elven Fortress, Throne Room

You see King of the Elves here.

Obvious exits: blocked exit west.

[ HP:47 MF:2965 ]: greet king

The King of the Elves sees the sasquatch foot, and quickly takes it from you.

He then tells you:

Bah, for all I know that is just a bear's foot. Do you take me for a fool?

Ah well, I'll give you something nonetheless. Take these smelly rags, and

get out of my sight!

The King of the Elves hands you something.

His Highness claps his hands, and guards rush in to escourt you outside.

This finely-made cloak increases its wearer's ability to resist harmful magic.

This item is worn on the back.

btw the best classes in that game are mage and druid, w/o a doubt :)
