Quest not dropping [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Lvl 28 tauren shaman. Doing an early early quest around lvl 10 trying to finally get my fire totem.



Regeant Bag (http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=6652) is what I'm looking for. Quest directs me to the cave above the ravine. Check. Burning blade clan, looking for the cultist. Inside the cave, there is a burning blade cultist. Been camping him for over an hour now while playing tiger woods, no bag drop.

Unless it was changed some of the quests other monsters dropped the item you are looking for, kill a bunch of different crap in the area and you might be in luck.



Just a suggestion, I havent played in a long time and dont know if things are still the same or not.

check thottbot on if hes got weird ass spawn issues or weird prereqs for the quest?

nah, no weird spawn spots, no weird prerequisites. Just kill him and get the regeant bag. Some people had trouble with it not dropping for 10 kills or so, but its 16% so I can understand that. I killed it at least 40 times and never got the bag. I also ran around in the small cave and killed guys and nothing dropped it. There are five or six other guys in the cave, and I'm certain I'm in the proper cave.





Any way to get a Totem Vendor set up in Orgrimmar or Thunder Bluff? Would really improve gameplay quality for horde shamans.

Not a bad idea, I'll try and see what I can do, had some issues earlier with drops, mention what monster is supposed to drop what item(s) for which quest so I can add the drop.

When I get home I'll start up a log and post the mobs and drops. My roommate plays a lot more than I do so I'm gonna get him to do the same, he has like eight characters whereas I have just the one. I like being able to play once or twice a week and still make progress :)
