your on a forum FULL of majormud players that do the exact thing, so im sure that one of them could explain to you, with more detail, as to why they have automated programs do all the work for them.





Nod Nod... I have seen bots being used for many many years. I just still don't understand it... even with your list. I can see the ADVANTAGES of it. That is logic. I am talking more abstractly with the fun of the game. How can having someone/something else play for you, be fun? The only thing I can see, is that people are more interested in being on top/winning rather than playing. That kind of goal or object in game play, seems kind of well... boring. Shrug, I have never been interested in winning/being good at games... it is always about the fun of playing it. Shrug, just an opinion. Was just curious.

I dont play games much longer than 2 weeks to a month. usually because im doing the same damn thing over and over and over until i lvl, which in a game like this could take days/weeks to do. Thats not fun for me and I would most likely quit after the first week like Pantharen did. Im sure that others that dont run bots will most likely do it as well.

Put it this way. You want to eventually be able to kill the biggest bosses in the game right? So do I. I just dont want to have to kill mobs repeatably for months to do it. For me, NOT using a bot isnt very logical.

Do you know how many ppl so far have complained about having to fight in pay_dun00 and 01 up until lvl 50? Its more logical to have your bot do all the lvling.. and when your home, you can do all the fun things, like boss hunts, crafting, lvling new spells, taming mobs, buying/selling items, all the FUN parts of the game. Killing things over and over and over isnt fun. Period.

openkore.com - its free. there isnt much in visualkore that isnt in openkore.

Not to mention the competitive nature of online RPG's. Just as soon as you get that new level and can use the sword you've been hanging onto, someone's always rubbing it in your face how they''re bigger/better. And if you say that it dosen't bother you, you're lying. We all know you like to be better then everyone. ;)

Well I am not lying when I say I don't care if I am bigger or badder than others. And to boot, I am probably going to be the only dancer for a while on Lunar RO... until/if it gets bigger. So I don't really have any competition. Aand by the time I did, I have been playing fror a long time... so it would be unfair for my to tout how farther ahead I am. I am a nice and kind person. I never flaunt myself (except my looks IRL, i'm hot I can't help that hehe) over those less fortunate/not as lucky. That is rude.

Server issues. I had to reboot the Windowss 2000 Server to get it going again. Things should be up and going again.
