Amen to that, Ray. I wish I could speak in such fancy dialect, but then I might be considered a pseudo-intellectual.

I caught a log  but no fish. I saw 3 eagles (2 parents and an youngin) the parents were showing the kid how to fish, they caught more fish than I did

I saw 2 otter playing on the opposit shore, and a lone seal. So all in all it was a great day. Fishing isnt always about catchin fish ;)

yeah fishings great. I love standing up to my balls in freezing cold water in April during the opening day of Trout fishing. Its nice and peaceful. You, a frostbitten nutsack, and the stream. Thats all that matters on that day. The best trout I ever caught was a 16 inch Golden Trout. I wouldve had it stuffed too but my Aunt freezer broke while she wasnt at her cabin and everything spoiled inside of it. I still have pics though of it somewhere.

Thats why I bought a pair of Simms G3 chest waders, I aint into waitin a couple of days for the balls to drop back down...

Thats a nice Golden.... My biggest fish was from the Ocean @ 63lb Spring, my largest non-tidal was a 12" rainbow :)

Unfortunately, I live in Michigan....hence, nowhere to fish.

Wait. Nevermind, surrounded by water. Yet, haven't been fishing since I was 13 with my dad. Might be fun to go out again someday and smokedown....but I'd likely get bored. Plus, not a big fan of fish for dinner. After dinner, sure...

Oh, and don't knock the flat heads, Xetox. Gotta have somewhere to put the beer and ashtray while getting my river rod serviced.
