Thanx Raiden.

Again, if I have been perceived in the wrong manner, I appologize, I wasn't meaning to bash Purgatory in anyway.

About that 100% stable thing I said awhile back...with Mother Nature's help seems I spoke a bit too soon. :-)

We lost power three times last night...coming back up now. :-)

Amber and Lodin do an excellent job. Most of what they do is first class.

yeah, i agree... although it's not my type of board personally - what w/ dupes allowed, no pvp/dp raiding, and legit limited items - they do keep it running quite well, and i don't see why everyone feels the need to jump all over them so much that the thread has gone on for 65 posts. if you don't like the place, either make constructive suggestions to try and get changes made, or don't play there, simple as that...

The above statement about how they run the game is what makes it so great AND challenging. One must WORK for levels, items, etc. :)

Keep up the fantastic work Amber.....:)

Not to be critical, but how does that make you work for your items? Someone kills thrag, gets belt. Grats, no one else gets it. They die. Can't raid dp, so now its stuck in some remote area for awhile until owner comes and picks it up.

You are never gonna get it, so how are you "working" for it? :)

Granted, items might be more than limit 1, but multiply the scenerio out.

Well, isn't that what mud is about? Getting exp and items, dp's etc the hard way?

They have kept their game bout as close to the original game but with some editing.

I was giving my opinion that I like Purgatory's Mud game. I, myself, prefer to have to do dp's runs, level slow, earn money the hard way, do boss runs with hopes that a limited item drops.

Sure, I can go on some board, get a weapon that hits for over a 100, script newhaven for plat, buy armour that gives me a very high ac, then go to the teleporters and kill all bosses (without having to travel more than two or three rooms to kill each boss)but for me there is no excitement in that.

So, hence my comment that I like Purgatory's board the way it is.

It is exciting...:)
