Its been back up, we have had a problem with a monster in the quest hall. Everytime the monster was attacked it crashed the bbs. I have removed it and we should no longer have a problem. Unfortunatly it took me a while because of all the hours I have been working this weekend. The other problem is that damn intensive recovery  that 1.11p beta 13 runs whenever it crashes. The recovery mode takes about 3-4 hours for the system to come back up after a crash. Hopefully, no more crashes after today.

Found a last (hopefully) monster in the new quest halls that were causing our problem.
As for the recovery mode, I am trying an experiment....I am deleting the wccrecov.flg file and IF it crashes again it shouldn't run the recovery. Now if anyone knows how to set an auto event to delete that file after the system is initialized I would love it.
Now for another edit update....
We have added a new area off the silver river, added two more boss monsters, are revamping the classes some, ie: toned down the barbarians quite a bit, seems they had too much power, added some abilities to the elementalist classes ie:higher combat skill and better armour.
We are working hard on getting the bugs worked out of this relatively new bbs. As more players try more race/class combos we are finding what we have done that doesn't seem right. As for the crashes, hopefully that is behind us. Now if mother nature would quit this stupid storm season, we could keep our power on.
Please bear with us through the rest of these growing pains.

Tomorow makes just 21 days and man does it feel longer. We have had no major crashes for two days, (knock on wood). We are going to remove the second mud (the stock mud) because we think we have narrowed down our crashing and the regen problem to the fact that we are running the two muds. Nobody has really beed playing the stock mud anyway. So, this weekend we will be removing the stock mud. (hopefully if we have time, Father's day week-end and all).
Since we have had so many problems with start-up we were wondering if it would be a good idea to reset the edited mud and give everyone who wants to come back a chance again. This isn't definate but I would like your thoughts on resetting. The good thing is, tomorrow, this game will only be 3 weeks old, so, we won't be resetting a game thats been here for years.
On the plus side, we aren't going anywhere, even if we only have five dedicated players plus ourselves. It costs us nothing to run because we would have the cable modem anyway, so if you want to come and play we will ALWAYS be here. :-)

OK, we are now down to one mud, the only side affect I noticed right away was that players had no statline till they typed set statline full. Now we will see how regen goes and such.
Edit news,
We increased the combat on our custom spell casters to make them stronger, we toned down the barbarians because they were overpowered. Next we will be adding another new area we have been working on, and Amber is working on more/stronger spels for our new spell casters.
