finding your own worldgroup reg #

Post by braddb »

I was told there was a way to find your reg # while you were online. The reason I am wanting this is because I want to install a program, but it is asking for my reg # and I can't find it anywhere. If there is a way to log on to your own bbs and find it I would love to know how.

Thanks

If you have WG installed and running, I think when you log onto the system it shows *a* number, but I'm not sure if it's *the* number you need..

if you are using the old style console window, tab to the "about" tab and it says it there. another way is to go into mud and type "sys lance". you can also hex edit the file "galgsbl.DLL" and search for "ReG#".

EDIT: you guys hadn't replied yet when i started mine. :) I took so long because i was trying to remember that damn file name.
