It's ok Galahad, I'd be jealous too.



And Yes, we would post ideas.. It would be a great way to promote the work we've done... because All that matters to us is acceptance and respect on the MMB. :rolleye:



OR It could be a great way to share ideas and let people who don't know exactly where to start, have a guideline to follow.

What language or script was major mud written in?



C and C++ muds (diku, merc, rom, circle, smaug etc.) have been sharing code snippits and area files for years. I have never looked at MajorMud or worldgroup bbs code but it wouldn't seem that hard to share code snippits



MajorMud is not open source, and therefore sharing "code snippits" is unfortunately not possible.



Even if it were, it'd be a biotch... MajorMud is in C, really fugly C I'm almost certain. And the WorldGroup API is a horrendous, insanely-poorly-documented nightmare that seems next to impossible for coders to learn.
